I’m an award-winning game designer, researcher, professional speaker and educator with over 12 years experience creating and studying interactive media, games and the web and 5 years teaching at a university level. I hold a PhD from Curtin University’s Department of Internet Studies, where I am also an Adjunct Research Fellow, and am a Professional Member of the Institute for Learning Professionals. I have been an invited speaker at major academic and industry events around the world, including SXSW, TEDxPerth and Pecha Kucha Perth. I have advised a wide variety of governmental, educational, and change-focused organisations in Canada and Australia, including Curtin University, TakingITGlobal, IDRC, the Green Party of Canada, the Western Australian Department of Transport, and the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
